Tropical Storm Humberto has just formed off the coast of Galveston. It has winds of about 45 miles per hour. The storm is expected to hit land around 2:00 AM. The storm should come in somewhere around San Luis Pass or Freeport.
We wish everyone well during this storm. If you have followed our hurricane preparations guide (see one of our previous blog entries) then you should be more then fine. Tropical Storms are not hurricanes often just dumping large rain amounts and gusty winds.
San Luis Pass is home to a great development called Pointe West. This is a beautiful, natural region located on Galveston, Island. This portion of the island is very isolated from the fast paced world we live in. Really a nice place to visit or live. Check them out after the storm passes.
Thanks for your time.
